1988 – The Crazy 88 – Part II

From now until the end of summer InSein is about to host a weekly block party session. For this first episode we pay tribute to the birth of block party, late 70's and early 80's Bronx NYC. Big ups to the godfathers of Hip Hop: Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, Melle Mel, Dirk Da Flow, Minou X&EGGS, Franky D. and Nico Blontrock.

On this Chroniclogical journey into the realms of the great Doctor, Insein and Dre fanatic Matty V, aka the dominatin' MC, is really in his studs. Normally he has to be already a bit drunk to command DJ's to play Dr. Dre finally already, but for this two hour special, he really got served on his winks by the one and only DJ Falluljah. From platinum hits to hidden gems, no stone is left unturned of the stoned genius. By the way, if Deez Nuts are on a girls chin, Deez ain't chin nuts, but the bitch has a dick in her mouth! And if you can't talk with a gun in yo' mouth and don't know Lucifer, than you 'bout to meet him, Mothafucka! Peace Out!!!

If you went raving in Belgium in the late noughties early eurm tenies you've probably once heard Cthulhu play on a party! I was pleasantly surprised when he invited me to partake in his 26 Mixes for No Cash series. And here is my contribution to the series, can't say it was easy, crafting a set with such strict boundaries but I'm happy with the endresult! Expect electro and techno with a pinch of acid.
