InSein Radio – Miscellaneous Moods & Structures
Hail to the new Franky in town. Minou Esquenet is here to take over the power together with her pinguin friend who has some right wing ideas. The future of Bruges is secure. You can say a lot about a woman, but not that's she's never right. Otherwise you could come in deep trouble. "Pull my finger fatty" she said while Franky is singing his swan song. How is your swan son doing? We know Dirks swan is very long. But not as long his lunte. Ask Kabilla Hermans. While you are still with us, we want to pitch our new idea. What do you think about a hooligan choir? Send us your videos and filmtjes. Would you cheer your team with a popular song? A swan song? A debut single is the opposite of a swan song. THE ROOTS ARK #17: Tribute to the fallen legends (12-01-2022)
To kick off 2022 we did a 2 hour tribute to some of legends who left us in 2020 & 2021. 2 hours is way too short so we scheduled only a few tunes per artist. Also there are a few who didn't get played such as Bob Andy, Apple Gabriel, Purpleman, Rudolph "Garth" Dennis, Ernest Wilson, Bunny Wailer & Robbie Shakespeare (who'll get a separate tribute). In order of appearance: Lee Scratch Perry, Toots Hibbert, Derrick Lara, U-Roy, Trinity aka Junior Brammer, Delroy Washington, Mickey Chung, Albert Griffith, Norris Reid, Naggo Morris, Bunny "Striker" Lee, Pad Anthony & Bobby "Digital" Dixon. Sad years where a lot of the legends have left us, but their music will always be remembered & played out loud! With all the respect, Rest in Peace to all

Reggae Excursion Guest Mixtape #42: Roots Vibration
Reggae Excursion Guest Mixtape #42 by Roots Vibration. Roots Vibration started out as a selectors duo in Leuven, organising sessions with Belgian soundsystems like Youth & Truth, Ionyouth, High’r Ites, Unification, Blackbird Sound, Tempest Sound and many others. With a big heart for 70s, 80s, 90s roots, legendary dub masters and an eye towards the future of reggae, Roots Vibration comes with a diverse selection that spans through the whole spectrum of the genre, while keeping the original rasta message strong. In 2017 the Roots Vibration label was set up. Releases include a broad selection of 70s, 80s and 90s roots reggae, dug up from obscurity, professionally remastered and pressed on quality black vinyl. Artists featured on the label include Earl Sixteen, Vivian Jones, Winston Jarrett, Winston McAnuff, Ras Midas, etc... Besides roots there’s a place for new reggae & dub musicians as well, such as Jahmbassador, Jacin and Murray Man. More releases to come in 2022, so stay tuned!
