Some laidback #dark #ambient #soundscapes and an occasional #rhythmic intermezzo... It was built round two tracks from Leila Abdul-Rauf her music. Shame on me because I don't play enough of her music, it's quite the mesmerizing experience to listen to her albums. Highly recommended. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this episode! MC Neute the hairless was absent on this particular night. He was dying his hair, rumours say.

To kick off 2022 we did a 2 hour tribute to some of legends who left us in 2020 & 2021. 2 hours is way too short so we scheduled only a few tunes per artist. Also there are a few who didn't get played such as Bob Andy, Apple Gabriel, Purpleman, Rudolph "Garth" Dennis, Ernest Wilson, Bunny Wailer & Robbie Shakespeare (who'll get a separate tribute). In order of appearance: Lee Scratch Perry, Toots Hibbert, Derrick Lara, U-Roy, Trinity aka Junior Brammer, Delroy Washington, Mickey Chung, Albert Griffith, Norris Reid, Naggo Morris, Bunny "Striker" Lee, Pad Anthony & Bobby "Digital" Dixon. Sad years where a lot of the legends have left us, but their music will always be remembered & played out loud! With all the respect, Rest in Peace to all

Very special guests Poolface were our guest last Wednesday: They brought us 15 tracks. Very different from our normal roster, but that makes it cool. Learned to know a lot new bands! Poolface, Uniform, Warthog, Crows, Lightning Bolt, Buzzcocks, Pixies, This Heat, Bad Breeding, Institute, Death From Above 1979, The Murder Capital,...

87th broadcast of the Reggae Excursion Radioshow. Hosted by Gus the Socialist Rocker. Enjoy!
