SLOPPY is a Radio program every 2 weeks (on Tuesdays from 4-5 pm on 106.4 FM) on Villa Bota (Bruges) with a focus on artist talks, performances, artist recordings and artist records. This week on Sloppy, Futura Resistenza. We sat down and started the show and one pearl after another rolled out of Futura Resistenza's dropbox folder. Ungilded diamonds shone in the evening light. Mastered, unmastered, released and unreleased songs all passed by here on a red carpet paved by barley wet (Thanks Moortgat). Dear listener, It has been exactly 13 years since I dropped my first Klankschap set on this platform. Most of the shows were created spontaneously in the radio studio of Villa Bota, where at the time there were about fifteen programs, while now there are about forty... I've lost count. Some things have changed and yet actually nothing has changed. Born as a boy in Bruges, I got some beats with the spoon in my mouth from the early years. This diet of non-music formed and deformed my musical taste. These beats are in a way what the Belgian royal family, love for spandex, Samson, Rudi Smits and the Belgians in the USA, Frank from the Zillion, Patje Krimson, Regi and Sylver, meant for me in the life of everyday and in my office, when I had one.
